I spent fourteen years in NYC before returning to my hometown to support my aging parents and settle their estate. Advice: Get their (and your) affairs in order as soon as possible. You won't be emotionally prepared for the messy aftermath while you're grieving. You will get over the discomfort of discussing important business with your loved ones because it's nothing compared to what's coming. /doomandgloom
